L’associazione Utopia Rossa lavora e lotta per l’unità dei movimenti rivoluzionari di tutto il mondo in una nuova internazionale: la Quinta. Al suo interno convivono felicemente – con un progetto internazionalista e princìpi di etica politica – persone di provenienza marxista e libertaria, anarcocomunista, situazionista, femminista, trotskista, guevarista, leninista, credente e atea, oltre a liberi pensatori. Non succedeva dai tempi della Prima internazionale.

APPEAL FROM RUSSIAN COMRADES

Dear comrades, please spread this text, written by Russian comrades and friends, enemies of the Putin regime. Jurij Dunaev.

 

Dear European comrades and friends,

this note is the result of discussion among Russian activists of socialist, social-democratic, liberal-democratic, communist-democratic orientation in Moscow. In a few days we know that you will be called to vote in the European elections. You are lucky. In spite of all the limitations that even we know, it is possible for you to choose from different orientations and positions. As far as we are concerned, we hope that the democratic and leftist forces that have unhesitatingly championed the cause of Ukrainian independence and freedom and against Russian imperialism will be able to achieve a significant result. It will help in our battle for democracy in Russia and against the Putin regime.


We are well aware that there are so-called “pacifist” positions in Europe that would like an end to the war at “any cost,” even at the cost of Ukrainian territorial cessions and a victory for Russia. For us these are unacceptable positions. As Comrade Boris Kagarlitsky, who is in jail today for his opposition to the war, put it, “This is an unacceptable position for us because it would strengthen the regime and make the chances for change in Russia much more distant.” These are not “pacifist” positions but openly flirt with those reactionary and conservative forces that we find in both the European right and left.


The road to a revival of ideas of progress is long across Europe. Let us hope that on June 8-9 a positive signal will come from the European Community.

Cari compagni e amici europei,

questa nota è il frutto della discussione tra attivisti russi di orientamento socialista, socialdemocratico, liberaldemocratico, comunista-democratico di Mosca. Tra pochi giorni sappiamo che sarete chiamati a votare per le elezioni europee. Siete fortunati. Malgrado tutti i limiti che anche noi conosciamo, da voi è possibile scegliere tra diversi orientamenti e posizioni. Per quanto ci riguarda ci auguriamo che le forze democratiche e di sinistra che hanno senza tentennamenti sostenuto la causa dell’indipendenza e libertà ucraina e contro l’imperialismo russo possano ottenere un risultato significativo. Sarà un aiuto nella nostra battaglia per la democrazia in Russia e contro il regime di Putin.

Sappiamo bene che in Europa esistono delle posizioni cosiddette “pacifiste” che vorrebbero una conclusione della guerra a “qualsiasi costo”, anche a costo di cessioni territoriali ucraine e una vittoria della Russia. Per noi si tratta di posizioni inaccettabili. Come ha detto il compagno Boris Kagarlitskij, che oggi è in galera per la usa opposizione alla guerra, “questa è una posizione inaccettabile per noi perché rafforzerebbe il regime e allontanerebbe di molto le possibilità di un cambiamento in Russia”. Queste non sono posizioni “pacifiste” ma che civettano apertamente con quelle forze reazionarie e conservatrici che troviamo tanto nella destra come nella sinistra europea.

La strada per una ripresa delle idee di progresso è lunga in tutta Europa. Speriamo che il 8-9 giugno dalla Comunità Europea giunga un segnale positivo.

Дорогие европейские товарищи и друзья!

эта нота - результат дискуссии между российскими активистами социалистической, социал-демократической, либерально-демократической, коммунистическо-демократической ориентации в Москве. Через несколько дней, как мы знаем, вас будут призывать голосовать на европейских выборах. Несмотря на все ограничения, о которых знаем даже мы, у вас есть выбор между различными ориентациями и позициями. Что касается нас, то мы надеемся, что демократические и левые силы, которые безоговорочно отстаивают вопрос независимости и свободы Украины и выступают против российского империализма, смогут добиться значительного результата. Это поможет в нашей борьбе за демократию в России и против путинского режима.

Мы прекрасно понимаем, что в Европе существуют так называемые «пацифистские» позиции, которые хотели бы увидеть окончание войны «любой ценой», даже ценой уступки украинских территорий и победы России. Для нас такие позиции неприемлемы. Как сказал товарищ Борис Кагарлицкий, который сейчас находится в тюрьме за свое выступление против войны, «для нас это неприемлемая позиция, потому что она укрепит режим и сделает возможность перемен в России гораздо более отдаленной».   Это не «пацифистские» позиции, а открытое заигрывание с теми реакционными и консервативными силами, которые мы находим как в европейских правых, так и в левых.

Путь к возрождению идей прогресса в Европе длинный. Будем надеяться, что 8-9 июня из Европейского сообщества придет позитивный сигнал.

a) The end does not justify the means, but the means which we use must reflect the essence of the end.

b) Support for the struggle of all peoples against imperialism and/or for their self determination, independently of their political leaderships.

c) For the autonomy and total independence from the political projects of capitalism.

d) The unity of the workers of the world - intellectual and physical workers, without ideological discrimination of any kind (apart from the basics of anti-capitalism, anti-imperialism and of socialism).

e) Fight against political bureaucracies, for direct and councils democracy.

f) Save all life on the Planet, save humanity.

g) For a Red Utopist, cultural work and artistic creation in particular, represent the noblest revolutionary attempt to fight against fear and death. Each creation is an act of love for life, and at the same time a proposal for humanization.

a) El fin no justifica los medios, y en los medios que empleamos debe estar reflejada la esencia del fin.

b) Apoyo a las luchas de todos los pueblos contra el imperialismo y/o por su autodeterminación, independientemente de sus direcciones políticas.

c) Por la autonomía y la independencia total respecto a los proyectos políticos del capitalismo.

d) Unidad del mundo del trabajo intelectual y físico, sin discriminaciones ideológicas de ningún tipo, fuera de la identidad “anticapitalista, antiimperialista y por el socialismo”.

e) Lucha contra las burocracias políticas, por la democracia directa y consejista.

f) Salvar la vida sobre la Tierra, salvar a la humanidad.

g) Para un Utopista Rojo el trabajo cultural y la creación artística en particular son el más noble intento revolucionario de lucha contra los miedos y la muerte. Toda creación es un acto de amor a la vida, por lo mismo es una propuesta de humanización.

b) Sostegno alle lotte di tutti i popoli contro l’imperialismo e/o per la loro autodeterminazione, indipendentemente dalle loro direzioni politiche.

c) Per l’autonomia e l’indipendenza totale dai progetti politici del capitalismo.

d) Unità del mondo del lavoro mentale e materiale, senza discriminazioni ideologiche di alcun tipo (a parte le «basi anticapitaliste, antimperialiste e per il socialismo».

e) Lotta contro le burocrazie politiche, per la democrazia diretta e consigliare.

f) Salvare la vita sulla Terra, salvare l’umanità.

g) Per un Utopista Rosso il lavoro culturale e la creazione artistica in particolare rappresentano il più nobile tentativo rivoluzionario per lottare contro le paure e la morte. Ogni creazione è un atto d’amore per la vita, e allo stesso tempo una proposta di umanizzazione.

g) Para um Utopista Vermelho o trabalho cultural e a criação artística em particular representam os mais nobres tentativos revolucionários por lutar contra os medos e a morte. Cada criação é um ato de amor para com a vida e, no mesmo tempo, uma proposta de humanização.
